This is a nice campground in a great location in Moab close to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Facilities are well maintained and the campground has grass and shade trees on almost every site. Wi-Fi worked well in the back row and the cable TV was clear with 75 channels. There is grass between sites and adequate space between slides and neighbors. The south end of the park backs up to the Colorado river but is not visible from the RV sites because of a dirt berm, but you can walk to the river. There are a few detractors that should be noted. The roads are narrow as are the sites, no separate parking for tow vehicles which makes the roads even narrower. The narrow sites along with trees and utilities can make placement of an RV with slides a challenge. Signage for the park is poor and if you miss the entrance heading south you are stuck going into town to find a place to turnaround. The RV park seems to be an afterthought on the large sign promoting river trips so be looking for it just prior to the bridge and all the new road construction.

Make sure you know where you are going when coming off of East I-55. We made a wrong turn and found ourselves in the WRONG neighborhood with no way to turn around. If you turn into the Casino parking lot looking for the RV Park make sure you turn left at the stop sign or you will need help turning around. Look for signs leading to the RV park entrance. If you need 50’ for your rig stay in the 500 & 600 spaces. The folks at the office will tell you that you will fit in the 100 to 300 spaces but you won’t with hanging out in the street. Sites were level, only problem we had was with the power which was running at 133 to 134 volts and tripped our surge protector several times during the night. No Wi-Fi in the RV park but you can get free Wi-Fi in the casino. Easy access to the casino and metro station if you want to head into Saint Louis.

We found this KOA to be well managed and maintained during our week stay. The pull-through sites are long enough for a big rig and the interior roads are wide enough for easy maneuvering. Spacing of sites was adequate for our 3 slides with plenty of room between neighbors. Sites and roads are gravel and can get muddy in the rain. We stayed in one of the premium pull-through sites with a concrete patio which was nice since it rained most of our stay. Lots of pine trees throughout the park which may hinder satellite systems. Cable TV worked well and antenna for network HD worked great. No problems with park's Wi-Fi. On-site owners/managers were very responsive to any problems and can really help with local points of interest around the area (lots to see). The place really fills up for Notre Dame football weekends, make sure to reserve early if they are playing. We would stay here again when in the area.

We found this to be a very nice stop over park for the night and wished our schedule would have lets us stay longer. Interior roads are partially paved and gravel but wide enough for easy maneuvering. Our pull thru was on the left side of the park (#70), it was level and long enough for our 50’ length of trailer and TV. No problems with water or power during our stay. Over-the-air antenna HD signal for the networks was great. The trains did not bother us at all on this side of the park, could be a problem for the spaces on the other side. Easy access to Springfield for shopping and sites. The owners were very helpful and run a nice park. We would stay here again if in the area.

Great place to stay in Santa Fe. It's a very quiet park since it is a 55+ community. The staff is VERY helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Only 4 miles from downtown Santa Fe with great bus service right in front of the property. (Tip 1) Take the bus for only $1 and save yourself the hassle of trying to park downtown. Lots of shopping and native art downtown and around the plaza; several very good museums also within walking distance downtown. (Tip 2) Museums are free from 5-8PM on Friday’s. This is an urban RV park that blends in very well; you hardly know that you are right in town. Spaces in the front will get some street noise, sites in the back not so much. We stayed in a back-in towards the rear of the RV park. Sites are well spaced from your neighbor with extra parking for a toad or TV. Well maintained and clean facilities throughout the park. The staff escorts you to your space and helps direct as you back in; they are good at it. WiFi work well with a good signal for our 3 days. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Well maintained mature park. Interior roads and site pads are asphalt. More than enough room to maneuver a big rig. Site pads are a bit narrow and fairly level, your step will more than likely be over the grass or dirt. Lots of mature trees give ample shade at majority of the sites. Well stocked store, gas, diesel, and propane on site. In door pool, spa and restrooms were well maintained and clean. Wi-Fi had a strong signal. You can walk to the town of Cannon Beach; underpass takes you to town without having to cross HWY 101. Would stay here again if in the area.

Great Park. Well designed with wide interior roads and space between rigs. Facilities are Very Clean and well maintained. Fuel and General Store on site. On call shuttle to the casino. Additional 10% discount if you get a free casino players card. Wi-Fi was quite slow even though park was only about 20% full. No "ABC" or "CBS" stations on the cable lineup.

Clean and very friendly park. The access to the Oregon coastline is wonderful. The park has two levels with back-in’s and pull-thru’s on the lower level and all back-ins on the upper level. Sites 65 thru 68 on the upper level look out West with a view of the ocean. The staff is very helpful and friendly and so are the folks staying at the park. There is a continental breakfast each morning, newspapers are delivered to your site (except Sunday) and they have great WIFI reception. The park and area are very pet friendly. Sites are concrete, ours had room for our 35’ 5ver but a little tweaking was required to get level side to side. Very nice area with lots to do when the weather cooperates. We would stay here again when in the area.

Small park in a great location to see Olympic National Park and other sights in the Northwest. Nice grocery store and Ace Hardware right across Hwy. 101 along with a good Italian restaurant. About 15 gravel back-in sites are in the front (near the Hwy) and 15 long grass pull-thru sites in the back of the park along with the dog area. On-site owners are very helpful and friendly. WiFi signal was strong even in our pull-thru space in the back of the park. Cable TV has 40 clear channels, no problems. Our pull-thru site was over 60ft long and level. Laundry room was clean; washers and driers looked new and worked very well. Showers were still closed for the winter. The pull-thru sites face a collection of permanent mobile homes that are not part of the RV Park but use a common road so there is some traffic and noise but was not a problem. We had a great stay and would come again when in the area.

Nice Park, great location. Easy access to Mt Saint Helens. Large concrete pads with plenty of room between rigs. Park has lots of mature trees and shade and sits in a small valley with a great view. Facilities are well maintained, nice laundry room and exercise room. Close to Three Rivers Mall (Safeway & Target plus many other stores). Only down side was the WiFi which is extra. Talked to a couple of other short stay guests and we all had problems either logging onto the provider or not being able to log on once you paid. Skip the parks WiFi and go to the Safeway and use their free WiFi, it works great from the parking lot for email. Local Visitor Information center also has free WiFi. Arrival Hint: When heading East on Allen St to the RV park you will come to Brookhollow Mobile Home Park First, go past (two driveways) the mobile home park and you will see a sign for the RV park on the right before the housing neighborhood.

This is an older RV park but is a nice stop for a night or two. Interior roads and sites are gravel, interior roads can be a little rough in spots. Clubhouse with laundry and showers is very nice/clean. Managers were very friendly and helpful. Pull-thru sites are very long (maybe 60ft) with all services at the rear of the site. We stayed in an end site (#38) which had a small concrete patio and looks right out on the river with a great view. Only 3 end sites in the park with this view and privacy. WiFi and cable TV worked fine. Easy drive to Ocean Shores and a drive on the beach. Would stay here again when in the area.

Stayed for two nights on our way north. The park is well maintained and staffed. It is close to I-5 but we did not notice any disturbing noise. Our site was large and level with grass between sites. Lots of tree shade available at most of the sites. The over night sites have easy access, several large MH with toads were in/out during our stay and did not seem to have any problems. Cable TV worked great, Wi-Fi is good but can get very slow at times. It looks like half the park is occupied by long term renters but all the sites are neat and the place is very quiet at night. Lots to do in the area if you stop over for an extra night.

Stopped for the night while traveling East from San Diego. This is a very nice and clean park. Easy access from I-40 with gas & diesel near by. The sites are wide and long, all sites are gravel. Park is dog friendly if you are a responsible dog owner. Owners are very helpful and friendly. They were having a free BBQ the day we check-in which was very nice. We only stayed the night and did not use the restrooms or shower. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a very nice RV park. Interior roads are wide and paved as are the patio areas at the sites. Staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. RV repairs and propane can be easily found in town. Park is very well laid out for large rigs, clean and well maintained. We had a standard pull-through at the end of a row with a large grass area for the dog. Site was wide and level with stable power. Great location for exploring Yellowstone NP and when you get back to your site you can walk to town for shopping and restaurants. Pet friendly park with nice areas in the national forest to walk your dog. For the price you pay you only get 15 minutes of Wi-Fi, additional 2 ½ days costs $9, signal was strong for the 3 days we were here. Cable TV reception was not that great with some network signals very intermittent.

Stopped here for the night on the way to Colorado based on the positive reviews of others. Called for reservations from the road that day, staff is very friendly and efficient. Met the owner when checking in, great guy and very proud of his park. We had a very nice pull-thru that was level, long and wide enough for 3 slides. The park is dog friendly if you are a responsible pet owner. Don’t know if they do this all year, but they had a great BBQ and reasonable prices right on site. Would stay here again when in the area.

Best location in the area for exploring the Black Hills. As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a very large RV park with 5 separate RV areas around a very large meadow. We stayed in the base camp area which is the only section with Cable TV. Pull-throughs were level, long and wide with stable power, some with shade. Wi-Fi was free. Very pet friendly. 3 miles to a nice market in Hill City. Looking at the other parks in the area this is by far the nicest RV park around.

Great location – within walking distance to the Buffalo Bill Historical Center (must see). Friendly, helpful staff. Clean well run park. As others have mentioned, pull-through sites are in an open area, don’t pass up the nice back-ins with the canyon/mountain views. Hookups can be a challenge, shared pedestal only had 50 amps on one side and it was already taken when we showed up. Wi-Fi and cable worked well. Power was a problem during the night with spikes above 132 volts which could damage electronics if you don’t have a surge/voltage protector. No credit cards, cash or checks.

Nice park, great location for exploring SW Colorado. Planned on staying for 5 days but stayed for 6 since we were having such a good time in the area. Stayed on the “hill” in one of the premium pull-thru sites, next time I will just take a full hookup since they have more shade and are large enough for our rig. Site was level and very, very large. No cable TV but over the air reception was great with over 20 digital/HD channels. We arrived at 2pm and found the office closed. Office hours were posted as 9am-12pm and 4pm–7pm. Note on the door said that reservation site assignments could be found in the laundry room but nothing was there and on-site host was not around. Did not want to sit for 2 hours so I just picked an open pull-thru and setup. Suggest that you confirm site assignment prior to arrival if arriving off hours. Park is “dog” friendly. Would stay here again when in the area.

Loved the Douglas KOA! We phoned for a last minute overnight reservation and the friendly staff booked us into a nice 50 Amp pull-thru in the back, and had a great view of the pond and the hills. We saw antelope grazing in the nearby fields and the other park residents were quiet, the staff courteous, friendly and very helpful pointing out the local points of interests. Sites were gravel, wide, level with plenty of room between rigs. Cable and WiFi worked well. Dog friendly with a large fenced dog yard. Nice place for a quick stop. Would stay hear again when in the area.

Very nice small RV Park in a great location. If you are passing through the area or are looking for a unique location for a few days, this is the place. Family owned and operated, the Millers could not be more helpful from reservations to helping with the local sights. The RV sites are gravel, level and have a great view of the mountains. Lots of things to do in the area from road trips to antique shopping. Only downside, no cable TV and no over the air reception. WiFi worked great. Verizon signal worked at site (1 bar but it worked). Looked at the other RV parks while in the area and was glad that we stayed at Elks Valley.

This is a wonderful RV Park situated among the giant redwoods, truly a beautiful place. Park and facilities are well maintained, and the staff/owners could not be more helpful. We were here in early June and had the place almost to ourselves; July and August are the busy months. This park is a combination of fulltime mobile homes on one side of the park, and leased RV spaces and rental spaces on the other side of the park. Free Wi-Fi worked well at our space most of the time. Great park for rest and relaxation. Very pet friendly if you are responsible owners. For 5vers, entry driveway is steep; truck bedrail clearance could be an issue for some. We look forward to staying here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Booked this campground based on recent reviews and was not disappointed. Park is well maintained with many improvements made by the new owner. Interior roads and sites are gravel. We had premium pull-thru site #5 which was level and well shaded on both sides of the rig. Clubhouse, pool, and recreation area is very close, but just far enough so you don’t get much noise. Lots to do and see in the area within an hours drive, such as the town of Murphy, Columbia and Big Trees state parks. WiFi is only available in the clubhouse and a few sites that are very close to the clubhouse. Park is dog friendly. We would definitely camp here again when in the area.

Used the Lakes RV resort as an overnight stop. Reservations were easy to make over the phone. Park was ¾ full mostly because of a club having a rally at the facility. RV park is part of a new housing development and golf course. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Interior roads are paved with easy access to sites. We had a pull-thru that was more than long enough for our 5ver and tow vehicle. Sites are level and very wide with grass and shrubs between sites. The lakeside back-in sites are just as large as a pull-thru, saw several 45ft motorhomes parked around the lake. Two rounds of golf are included in the rate. The place is very well maintained, dog friendly and quite. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Stayed on an overnight stop on the way home. We called before the office closed and reserved a site but would not arrive until after hours. Staff was very accommodating and had someone there to greet us upon arrival, and escort to the site. Overnight sights are gravel, but level and easy to get in and out of. There are many seasonal sites as well, and it seemed that the majority of the sites were occupied by snowbirds. Facilities are well maintained. Very close to I-8, easy to get to off the freeway. Would use as an overnight stop again.

Stayed for 2 nights after Thanksgiving and the place was almost empty. Sites are full hookup with cable TV. Easy walk to the village with a well stocked store and food service. A few of the bigger restaurants were closed this time of year, if that is your thing. Good weather for the trip, nice time of the year to visit the Grand Canyon. Made the reservations in Oct for the Nov trip over the phone with Xanterra, very pleasant folks to work with. We will definitely stay here again!

Great park like setting in the heart of Sedona, lots of shade and close to a beautiful creek. We were in site #63 (back-in) which was quite large and plenty of room for our rig and truck. Most of the sites have grass and plenty of shade. The WiFi worked great.. Lots of road work being done on Hwy 179 thru Oak Creek, they are installing several traffic circle intersections that make it a little tricky for a big rig. Park is easy to find once you get to Sedona. Staff is very friendly and has great advice for sightseeing in the area. Overall a great park. Definitely will come back.

No problem with check-in or getting a “Good Sam” discount. Park is nicely landscaped and as mentioned in the last review, the interior roads are a bit narrow but I did not have a problem getting into or out of our space with a 5ver/TV at 47’. Pads are a little narrow and you will step out on the grass, not a problem as long as the sprinklers are not on. Very clean and neat, nice store on site. Very close to Zion NP. We really enjoyed our stay. We camped in a fifth wheel.
